Multi-tenant

A software design where one running application serves many separate customers, called tenants, with their data kept apart.

It is efficient for the vendor and usually cheaper for customers. The quality of the separation matters: some products give each tenant a separate database, others share one with filters. For an agency, the tenants are the agencies themselves.
